I would have commented sooner, but the blue screen of death popped up on my Windows 95 machine. I thought I understood Web 2.0 until the mention of 4.0 without even a whisper of 3.0. So my question is: "Is Web 3.0 like Wikipedia and 4.0 like Google on Crack??

thanks jill! i say put them on the spot. ask them to define web 2.0 and what it is they believe is over and done with. i think you will hear a lot of stammering at that point. or point them to this post. even better, have them call me. i'm always happy to be entertained by ignorance unless it is rooted in arrogance (see previous post: http://tinyurl.com/67bmnv.

Kel, i love this post. I was recently told in a meeting that "no one is talking about Web 2.0 anymore, it's all about Web 3.0."

I really wanted to put them on the spot and ask them to define 3.0....or even 2.0 for that matter.

The 2 people who told me are smart, but they surely aren't leading the forefront in this area. I am also pretty sure I read lots more when it comes to industry pubs, research, etc.

Your post was timely & right on. Go sistah!!
